Investigator Shanon House is a highly experienced law enforcement professional who has served in various roles over the span of 21 years. She began her career as dispatcher and jailer with Lee County Sheriff's office in 1998 and later became a sworn deputy after attending Northeast Alabama Law Enforcement Academy in 2003. In 2020, she joined the Ashland Police Department and brought about significant changes to the position. In 2023, she was promoted to Assistant Chief and continues to lead by example, building relationships within and outside the department
